2.3 Camera and Photo Library Permission

When you use the photo feature to log food, we request camera or photo library permission. Photos are sent to our AI service (Anthropic) for nutritional analysis and are not stored on third-party servers beyond the duration of processing.

4.1 What We Share with Anthropic

Zanzan Health uses the Claude API provided by Anthropic to power its health recommendations. When you interact with the AI, the following information is sent to Anthropic:

• Food photos you upload for nutritional analysis
• General health context within the conversation

The following is NOT shared with Anthropic:

• Your name, email address, or account credentials
• Your device identifiers
• Any information that directly identifies you

4.2 How Anthropic Uses This Data

• Data is transmitted securely via HTTPS
• Anthropic does not use API data to train its models by default

4.3 User Control

You can choose not to use the AI chat features. Core health tracking (steps, sleep, calories) does not require sending data to Anthropic.

6. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

• Resend — Email delivery for login verification codes
• Vercel — Web hosting and API infrastructure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertising networks.

7. Your Rights

• Access and obtain a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data in your profile
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data (via Settings → Security → Delete Account)
• Withdraw consent and stop using AI features at any time

8. Data Retention

• Your health records and profile are retained as long as your account is active
• When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days
• Conversation data sent to Anthropic is not retained beyond the immediate API call

9. Local Storage and Tracking

This app uses local storage on your device to save your health records, preferences, and login session. We do not use third-party tracking SDKs, advertising networks, or behavioral analytics tools.

10. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
